Special Reason - One Sheet Wonder Cards 13 & 14

Hi everyone, the final post in the Special Reason One Sheet Wonder series.  This post details cards 13 and 14.

Card 13


Cut a piece of A4 Basic Black cardstock in half lengthwise.  Fold in half to create the card base.

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 9.5cm x 13.8cm.  Adhere this to the card front.

Cut a piece of Delightful Dijon cardstock 9cm x 13.3cm.  Adhere this to the card front.

Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 8cm x 12.8cm.  Adhere this to the card front.  

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 7.7cm x 12.5cm.  Put this through the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing folder and then adhere to the card front.

Cut a strip of Designer Series Paper 8.5cm x 1.3cm.  Adhere this to the card front, refer to picture for placement.

Cut a Basic Black decorative strip using the Flourish Thinlits.  Cut this to size and adhere to the card front.


Stamp and watercolour 1 small flower and 3 small leaves.  Cut these out using the Stylish Stems Framelits.    Arrange these on the card front, refer to picture for placement.  

Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Basic Black cardstock using Versamark Ink, add White Embossing Powder and heat set.  Punch this out using the Classic Label Punch, trim off one of the pointed ends.  Adhere this to the card front, slipping it under the flower, refer to picture for placement.  



For the inside cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 10cm x 14.3cm and adhere this in place.  

Stamp and watercolour a small flower and 3 small leaves.  Cut these out using the Stylish Stems Framelits.  Arrange the flowers and leaves in the bottom right corner of the card inside. Stamp the sentiment using Basic Black Archival ink in the centre of the inside card, refer to picture for placement.

Card 14



Cut a piece of A4 Delightful Dijon cardstock in half to create a piece of A5 cardstock. This is then folded in half to create the card base.

Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 9.5cm x 13.8cm.  Adhere this to the card front.

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 9cm x 13.3cm.  Adhere this to the card front.

Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 8.5cm x 12.8cm.  Adhere this to the card front.

Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 10.5cm x 6.5cm and adhere to the card front using dimensionals.

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 10cm x 6cm and adhere to the Basic Black cardstock piece.

Stamp and watercolour 2 small flowers and 3 small leaves.  Cut these out using the Stylish Stems Framelits.  Also cut out two stems from Always Artichoke cardstock.  Arrange these on the Whisper White panel, refer to picture for placement.  One of the flowers is raised on dimensionals.


Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Basic Black cardstock using Versamark Ink, add White Embossing Powder and heat set.  Punch this out using the Classic Label Punch.  Adhere this across the flower stems using dimensionals.

Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 6.5cm x 0.5cm, adhere this to a strip of Basic Black cardstock cut at 6.5cm x 1cm.  Adhere this across the bottom of the flower panel and add a row of Rhinestones to finish the card front.

For the inside cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 10cm x 14.3cm. Adhere this in place.  Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 9.5cm x 13.8cm and adhere this on top of the Basic Black piece.

Stamp and watercolour a small flower and 3 small leaves.  Cut these out using the Stylish Stems Framelits.  Arrange the flowers and leaves on the bottom right of the card inside. Stamp the sentiment using Basic Black Archival ink on the bottom of the card inside near the small flower arrangement.

I believe card #13 is my favorite out of these 2 cards, but my all-time favorite was card #4. Just love those panels. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. You are truly an artist!

  3. Absolutely beautiful cards. Thank you for sharing. I am going to convert the measurements and then try it with some DSP. I hoard DSP, because I'm always afraid I will waste it. But your instructions really help me see how to get the most out of a sheet.
